another 15 miles in

Cold and windy during my run. I should've known by now as to what not to eat before the run, food tasted rotten in my mouth while running. Chihuahua was trying to scare me again. Had to really push myself after 8 miles. Very tired now and really felt like throwing up.

Well, I haven't done my long run for more than two weeks. Due to some issues with  myself  plus didn't  have  that time that I would need. So for it to happen I made sure I made time for it. However the weather may have been, had to put my on my shoes, jacket , gloves, sunglasses and mp 3, and started pounding on the concrete hard. After 3 miles, I started sweating and started to feel the cold and wind, but that didn't stop me. I thought of stopping which I always have  these "maybe I need to stop thought reason" while running. I'm not sure if that is normal to happen but everytime I'm on the run, I thought of these things, my legs hurt, my neck hurts, my stomach is feeling weird..but at the end, my goal to join the marathon prevailed. Mybe the question should've like, "what do you think while running"..hmm.

Ate my rice this morning with some leftovers meat stew. It didn't feel good while running. I kept burping the stew and felt yucky in my mouth from the start of the run. So now, I really need just rice and maybe banana to go with it and freshly brew coffee. For some reason, I have not learn lessons as to what NOT to eat before the run and perhaps the night before.  Many times I'd start burping like petrolium before I'd go out the door. I think that is acid but I'm not really sure. I'm running out of time as to what really IS good to eat before the run. Think, look and find to resolve the issues..hmm. fast. very fast.

AFter 8 miles, I had to stop by the house to get some water in my mouth. Somehow I felt so thirsty. I'm into sunflower seeds, roasted and unsalted. Well, hubby bought both salted and unsalted. I like the salted better. So, last night I ate unsalted and I added salt to it. It's yummy alright and today I knew why I was really thirsty. Mile 11, had to go by the house again to get some drink. This time I drank some water, and some coconut juice that's in a box. It's so yummy and few bites of CLIFF BARS. I wasn't feeling hungry but felt the need of energy boosts. I ran some more after a few minutes break so I can get my 15 miles in. I felt really tired after the 13 miles. I felt the pain in my lower back and decided to walk once in a while. I noticed that if I walk and then try to run again, I felt more tired.

I hate to get bark at specially those little chihuahuas. It's out again today. Well this time he was alone and as soon as I heard a dog barking through my mp3, I stopped and turned around. I shhh the dog and I went on to do my stuff and somehow it stopped following me.. thank goodness.

I may have drank too much liquid today. That maybe the reason why I felt so like throwing up. Now that I have eaten my dinner and is relaxing, I felt recovering well. My feet are up and I'm recklining..huh, watching tv while blogging.

my run today. took me forever but all worth while.
