15 miles

15 miles-- check, backache-- check, feet hurts--check, feeling drained--abslutely double check!!!

Yes, that 15 miles had to be in by today!! I need to show to hubby I can do it,..he is not registering me until I have something to show to him that I can do it..huh!! but now, not really sure if I have more energy for another 13 more miles. Though I have at least a month more to train. So if I have the courage to do this long run twice a week, I might gain more endurance, I'm praying that i will.

That 15 miles took me 3 hrs and 6 minutes. That is way tooo long pounding the concrete...and it hurts to think about it.

Like I have been experiencing, the first 2 miles are always the hardest but realized it today that when I hit the 10 miles, I started feeling my back hurts. I wanted to stop but I had to tell myself, got to go, got to go..! so went I did. Though I walked when I really had to which I did few times.

My feet are certainly feeling the beat too. One of my toes had turn black already but it doesn't hurt. The other little toes are hurting and I'm hoping it will go away soon, like in about 30 minutes since I have to put a pair of shoes to walk and get my little pumpkin from school..

Now, I am more drained than the other day, Tuesday was the last one that I did my long run. Not sure why, but the thing with running is that, everyday is different. I may have lots of energy somedays and other days I won't. That is some discovery that if you don't do it, you won't feel it.

Happy that I struggled through get that 15 miles in. I now have to heal some parts of my body that hurts. I will be taking things easy. Hubby said we will go out for dinner tonight, so that takes away of me cooking. I should be able to walk from car to the restaurant..LOL.. without the wheel chair..LOL..
