Two days already from my longest run, my legs are still sore. My toes are also sore. Blisters on my one toe is not so bothering and ran today anyways. I biked yesterday for an hour.
It's been 2 days only ago that I did my longest run for the year. My leg muscles are still sore. I find myself holding on to something when trying to get on the floor to put my shoes on. I am hoping this will go away as I'm determined to run. I took tylenol to ease some pain on my muscles and it helps. I didn't take anything before going to bed last night but had to get up to the bathroom at 2 am and found myself really sore so had to take two.
I didn't think that my toes were hurting the other day after my run, until this morning when I walked Matt to school. Maybe it had something to do with those tylenols, huh.
I had blisters on my one toe and since it wasn't that bad I ran today. I did 6.5 miles. I think it's really good. But though like I said, took tylenols for pain. I was going to do the bike but since it's beautiful day today, I took advantage of it. I could've done more had I started earlier..hmm I was busy on the internet playing games. I need to quit playing them since I have training to do..need discipline.
Even I was in pain yesterday, I pushed myself to go on the stationary bike. I had to do it. I can't just say I'm sore and therefore I need to relax. I guess when I set the goal last year, I just had to push and push until I'm satisfied.
Overall, such a beautiful day, couldn't pass it not to run even if it hurts. :-) I did enyoy my 6.5 miles and will do it again.
