Summer like

Can't believe the temperature is summer like here in California although, we are in the middle of November. Not complaining by any means, just to share I am enjoying it. It is hard to get away from here when the temperature is like this, in high 80's.

I was able to do some yard work for days now and just enjoying it. Trimed some fall flowers that just finished their show and transplanted some of the dwarf, yellow Chrysanthemums.

I love them as borders. They really give me big time show for months. They get crowded if not split in fall.

Below picture is white Chrysanthemum. It is tall and good for background cover. It needs stakes for it to stay up when it's blooming and the flowers stays for weeks or even months. I love them.

This picture below is my Sweet Basil. I bought it from the grocery store, when I needed fresh basil for my Pizza. I bought the one that was in a package that says "live basil". I got home, used them and there were leftovers. I decided to try and stick it in the ground since it had roots. Well, there it is, smelling good when you run your hands through it and the freshness stays on you, makes you feel hungry. I drink my morning coffee sitting next to it.. love it.
